The winners were announced at the 2010 Reed Awards on January 29, 2010 in Washington, DC to political and public affairs professionals at the top of their game.  “Becoming a Reed Award finalist is tough. Actually winning a Reed Award is only accomplished by the most impressive creative political and public affairs talent in the world,” said Jordan Lieberman, C&E publisher.

Jordi Segarra awarded as a Campaign&Elections RISING STAR

ST!Politics Senior Partner Jordi Segarra has been recognized as a 2009 “Rising Star” by Campaign & Elections Politics Magazine.

One of the most prestigious honors in politics, the award goes to people 35 or under who have already made a significant mark in political consulting or advocacy. The magazine chose 10 Democrats, 10 Republicans and seven nonpartisan leaders this year out of a pool of several hundred nominees.

“Capping off an historic election year, we received a record number of nominations for this year’s Rising Stars,” said James Klatell, managing editor of Politics. “With so many exceptional young people working in politics today, this was an exceedingly difficult process.”

Past Rising Stars have included David Axelrod, Paul Begala, Donna Brazile, James Carville, Alex Castellanos, Rahm Emanuel, Ed Gillespie, Alexis Herman, Karen Hughes, Laura Ingraham, Celinda Lake, Jim Pinkerton, Ralph Reed and George Stephanopoulos.

 
SegarraTerés centres the analysis of the Andorran elections during the annual meeting of the European Association of Political Consultants

Zurich / Switzerland. -  The consultants SegarraTerés provided one of the main reports of the work sessions that took place in Switzerland at the annual meeting of the European Association of Political Consultants (EAPC). About 60 European and American experts analyzed the Andorran general elections of  April 26th. The Andorran consultant, Jordi Segarra, opened the work session on the case of Andorra, with an exposé that covered the results and the different strategic axes used by the rival parties. The exposé continued with the viewing of some of the ads produced by the parties. Special relevance was given to the new communication tools that were used during the campaign, the participation of the citizens, as well as the technique of door to door, an action broadly implanted in Andorra that is gaining popularity all over the world in modern electoral campaigns. In the forum, with more than 60 consultants from 2 continents participating, the case of Andorra Pel Canvi, a communication campaign that SegarraTerés were in charge of,  drew the most interest 'especially with the results obtained by a newly formed party in a short but intense campaign, with 18,9% of the votes', Jordi Segarra explained.
