ST! POLITICS is the division of ST! specialized in integrated communication and political consultancy. Our business arena is centred mainly around the study, creation and implementation of strategies designed to optimize the political actions of our clients to make their chosen objectives a reality.
ST! POLITICS is currently one of the biggest political communication groups on the international stage. Our team is made up of experts in the different areas that intervene in the making of optimal communication: strategy, contents, design & creativity, audiovisual production, new medias, economics and logistics.
We have directed successful campaigns and contributed strategic advice to parties, governments and institutions and among our clients we can count and visit presidents, ministers, senators, deputies, governors, mayors and candidates on both sides of the Atlantic.
Our firm has helped our clients obtain the results they wanted and to win in numerous national, regional and local elections.
ST! POLITICS uses strategic planning and the mobilization and organization of the grassroots. We put special emphasis on exhaustive investigation, the full use of new technologies and a creative visual image.

Jordi Segarra:
Jordi Segarra Tomàs is a degree in journalism and has a master/PhD in political communication. As ST!Politics Strategy Director he takes care of the planning, creation, implementation and following of political and electoral communication strategies, the definition and diffusion of messages and their impact by means of creativity applied to different acts of communication and political actions.

Jordi became the youngest strategic campaign director at a national level in Europe, during a presidential election in Andorra. Since then, he has directed strategies of leaders, candidates and campaigns for several major political parties and governments in Europe, Africa, Latin America and the United States of America.
Jordi Segarra is the non-American political consultant most honored for his professional work with 8 Pollie Awards, considered the Oscars of political communication in the categories of "Best use of grassroots" and "Best Print / Graphics" (2009 ), "Best Online Campaign" and "Best Direct Mail" (2010). Finally, in 2011, he has won four new Pollies ("Most Original / Innovative Collateral Material", "Best International Internet Campaign", "Best International TV AD" and "Best Billboard").
He has been recognized as “Rising Star 2009” by the U.S. magazine “Campaigns & Elections Politics Magazine's". The same publication awarded him in 2010 with one Reed Award for "Best Direct Mail Campaign Non-US" and another in 2011 in the category of "Best Non U.S. TV Campaign".
He is visiting professor and lecturer at several universities in Europe and America (Graduate School of Political Management, The George Washington University, Denver University, Universitat Ramon Llull in Barcelona, Universitat de Barcelona, Universitat Autónoma de Barcelona, Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, Universitat de Lleida , ICADE Madrid, Universidad de Navarra, FUNGLODE Santo Domingo, UNAM Mexico, Universidad Panamericana, etc.).
In 2009 he published, along with his partner Alex Teres, his first book about political communication: "Yes YOU Can, looking for the perfect candidate". In 2011 Jordi co-wrote "The Power of Internet: Citizens and Consumers".Right now his completing a new publication that will see the light soon.
Jordi Segarra is Board member of the IAPC (International Association of Political Consultants), Board member of the EAPC (European Association of Political Consultants), member of the AAPC (American Association of Political Consultants) and the ALACOP (Latin American Association of Political Consultants).
Àlex Terés
Àlex Terés studied Law and has a degree in Journalism. As ST! POLITICS's Communications Director, Àlex Terés leads Media/New media areas and audiovisual broadcasting. Subsequently he is in charge of implementation, development, as well as content management of information cycles and rhythms, dialogue and vertical and horizontal conversations via mass media.

Àlex Terés has built up a wealth of experience in audiovisual communication. For several years he was professor of studies of Audiovisual Communication and Advertising at the University of Lleida, in the subjects of “Management and Organization of Audiovisual Companies” and “The Structure of the Audiovisual System.” Currently he lectures at various universities and forums such as the Master of Political and Corporate Communication at the University of Navarra, the Autonomous University of Barcelona and the Superior School of Public Relations at the University of Barcelona, amongst others.
His first steps in the world of communication were on the radio in 1994. From then on he forged a professional career in media such as Spanish National Radio or Andorran National Radio. He also worked in written press before making the jump to television. In 1998 after working as a reporter on Barcelona TV he joined Andorra Television. There he developed a successful professional career that culminated in him being director of content and joint general manager for the Andorran public entity.
In 2009 he published, along with his partner Jordi Segarra, their first book: 'Yes YOU Can, seeking the perfect candidate' (Angle Editorial). Their professional work at ST!POLITICS has been recognized with 8 Pollie Awards(“Best use of grassroots”, “Best Print/Graphics”, “Best Non US Online Campaign”, “Best Direct Mail”, "Most Original/Innovative Collateral Material", "Best International Internet Campaign", "Best International TV AD" and "Best Billboard") and 2 Reed Awards (“Best Direct Mail Non-US Campaign” and “Best Non US TV Campaign”).
Throughout his career Alex Teres has received several prizes in the areas of information, communication for his work in audiovisual and journalism with other prizes for his audiovisual works: a nomination for the Ondas awards prize in 2001 and the Pirene 2002, among others.
Àlex Terés is member of the European Association of Political Consultants (EAPC) and of the American Association of Political Consultants (AAPC).

NEW BUSINESS DIRECTOR
Toni Corominas
Toni Corominas studied publicity. His broad professional experience has taken him to be commercial responsible for different entities for over 24 years mainly in radio stations and television channels. He has also been in charge of creating and developing different audiovisual projects.

Corominas started his career in the commercial departments in the mid 80’s. After a brief period in the commercial department of a newspaper and a radio station, in 1988 he founded the publicity agency STUDIS’S-2 were he worked for different projects in Spain.
In 1991 he moves to Andorra and becomes Commercial Director for Ràdio Valira. After 9 years he takes on a new professional challenge and becomes director to the commercial department of Andorra’s public radio and television station (RTVA). Here he modernizes the department and quadruples the publicity income. During this period he also plans out and designs a couple of multimedia projects for RTVA.
Before this point in his career he was one of the founders of local radio stations and television channels in Catalunya and an active member of EMUC, an association in charge of looking over the rights of these entities.
Toni has joined SEGARRATERES ST! (ST!Corporate, ST!Politics,ST!Media&Tools) and ANA–Agència de Noticies Andorrana S A. as new business director to consolidate national market and increase the foreign market client for the group.
CREATIVE & NEW MEDIA DIRECTOR
Xavi Pons
Xavi Pons is a Design Graduate in animation techniques, multimedia and 3D. As ST! Group's New Media Director he is in charge of giving visual identity to the ideas and political strategies through creativity, design and technology both on-line and off-line.

Xavi has been Art and design director for different political campaigns, working for liberal, socialist, social democratic and centre democratic parties. In the year 2008, his work was rewarded with a Silver Pollie Award in Graphic Design.
Before entering ST!POLITICS, he was part of ADN Design's team for 7 years and worked on the concept, design and development of web projects as well as on other graphic design, multimedia, audiovisual space design and visual communication projects. In ADN he acquired broad experience in the private, public and institutional sector.
His professional career started in a Spanish company, Ars Virtualis, as a junior designer. There he participated in multiple commercial campaigns for important companies in the Spanish private sector: Licor del Polo, Gallina Blanca, La Toja, Nacex...
AUDIOVISUAL PROJECTS DIRECTOR
Toni Ubach
Toni Ubach has a degree in video and filmmaking besides a specialization in camera and illumination techniques. His area of responsibility in ST! covers all audiovisual processes from beginning to end: creativity, script, production and post-production. He also is in charge of the staging of events and all kind of public presentations.
Toni has received a number of awards in recognition of his work. Some outstanding ones are a nomination to an Ondas Award, a Tristaina Award, and a recognition for best creation at the Estavar-Llivia Festival or a Pirene Prize His work was chosen for the experimental video exposition AVE Audiovisual in Holland and he obtained a 24 Editors Prize.He has a broad professional career in image where he has worked at all levels. He has participated in a number of cinematographic and television productions and has directed and produced video clips and the staging for three editions of Eurovision Festival. He has worked as a freelance for Europa Press and was head producer/director for public Andorran Television (ATV). He has been Special Envoy for different sport and politics events.Toni has produced/directed twenty television programmes, more than 250 reports in 30 minutes style and has covered a number of happenings and TV debates in national and local elections.As the company’s audiovisual project director he has taken part in all the spots, ads and other cinema, TV, new media, and radio formats produced by ST! since the company started.Toni has received a number of awards in recognition of his work. Aníbal Acevedo Vilá
Aníbal Acevedo Vilá, as ST!POLITICS political advisor, brings all the knowledge his outstanding career as leader and ruler has given him. He’s been Governor of Puerto Rico, Congressman, president of PPD and an important member of the Democratic Party amongst other responsabilities. He’s bachelor in Political Sciences, graduate in Law and Master in Law by Harvard University.
He has been Law Clerk for the Federal Court of Appeals in Boston in the United States and in the Supreme Court in Puerto Rico. Acevedo Vilá has served as a House of Representatives member for eight years, as PPD legislative leader and as President for his party’s Commission Status. He was elected president of the Partido Popular Democrático at 35 years old. After the historic fifth column victory “None of the above”, he was consolidated as a national leader and spokesman for a new generation.On November 2nd 2004 he was elected Governor of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. During his mandate he appointed a bureau with members of different political ideology looking to move away from parties’ interests.
As Governor he affronted political persecution from a team of federal investigators that accused him on March 27th 2008 of different charges related to the 2000 and 2004 elections. After a long investigation and judicial process where Acevedo Vilá always maintained he was innocent and was confident on a non guilty outcome, the jury declared him so in March 2009.During this process he lost the November 2008 election.
He has been Resident Commissioner (representing the Puerto Rico people in front of the United States Congress) for 4 years, besides superdelegate for the Democrat Party and and the first political leader from Puerto Rico to endorse Barack Obama for president.
Aníbal has two published books: In 2000, “En honor a la verdad” (Editorial Cordillera) and in 2009, “Así Fue... ¿Y ahora qué?” (Editorial Cordillera) and is also author of different publications on law and politics.
José L. Ribera
José L. Ribera studied Public Opinion Management at Massachussets Institute of Technology (MIT - Boston), and Marketing and Business Administration (ESIC - Madrid).
His broad professional career counts with an outstanding 35 year experience at The Gillette Company, the last 14 of them as Group President AMEE –London, that operated in 104 countries and territories (Mediterranean, Africa, Middle East, Hindustan and East Europe).Ribera initiated his professional carrier in the mid 60’s in Spain as Marketing Director for Land Rover Santana in Madrid.
In 1969 he entered the Gillette Company as Marketing Director for Spain. In 1973 he went on to work as International Marketing Director – Toiletries Division in G.I.M.D. - at the Gillette General Headquarters in Boston (U.S.A). There, he was in charge of International Marketing direction for the toiletries division. Ribera oversaw the 220 countries and territories in which at the time Gillette operated. His position required a three way action: Handing over to local companies the new marketing technologies and Business Administration; checking and approving Marketing Plans; and managing and supervising the Research & Development projects and investments for new products.
In 1977 he was designated General Director for Gillette Española S.A. Later on he was in charge of the General direction of Gillette Iberia S.A (Spain and Portugal) until he was designated, in 1983, as Group General Manager in London.
In 1986 he went on to direct the AMEE Group as Group President. He was in charge of 40% of World territory and was responsible over all the Group’s divisions: Gillette Shaving, Gillette Toiletries, Duracell, Oral B, BRAUN, Parker & Waterman as well as all the actions: Marketing and Sales, Manufacturing, Logistics, Human Resources and Administration – Finance.
During the 14 years Ribera was in charge of the AMEE Group, Gillette entered and expanded throughout Turkey and the Mediterranean, India and Pakistan, East Europe, specially, Poland, Czech Republic, and finally Russia and FSU. In each and every one of these countries the Gillette Company became a major business powerhouse and its Brands and Products were worldwide recognised and praised.
Nowadays José L. Ribera is Senior Advisor at SEGARRATERES ST! (ST!POLITICS, and A N A – Agència de Noticies Andorrana S A.); he also works as an advisor for Strategy & International Business Management affairs for a select group of companies.
